Who this policy covers

This policy describes how Kate Goeringer, REALTOR® with Brick Realty, handles information collected through realestatekatetn.com. It covers this website, its contact and local-tour forms, newsletter signup, quizzes, and site analytics. It does not govern the privacy practices of a separate company when you visit its website or use its service.

Information you give us

The information you provide depends on what you choose to do. You can read most of the site without filling out a form.

• Contact and property inquiries may include your name, email address, phone number, message, property address, desired location, selling timeline, or other details you choose to share.
• A local-tour request includes your contact details, preferred municipalities, price range, property type, timing, optional tour date and notes, and how you would like Kate to reply.
• A newsletter signup collects your email address, optional first name, and the page where you subscribed.
• Quiz answers may include location and home preferences, goals and timing. The mortgage-readiness quiz also asks for broad credit, household-income, housing, and employment categories and produces a readiness score. If you choose to share contact details, the result can be connected to those details. The quiz is not a credit application or a credit pull.
• If you sign in to a protected owner page, the authentication service may provide an account identifier, name, email address, and login information used for access control.

Information collected when you use the site

Like most websites, this site and its service providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, approximate location inferred from an IP address, referring site, and the time of a visit. Some of this information is collected automatically by hosting, security, or analytics services.

The pages for 400 Due Lane and 1029 Belcor Drive also record first-party events such as page views, which sections were reached, scrolling milestones, gallery and FAQ opens, and clicks on contact buttons. Those event records include a temporary session identifier, broad device category, browser width, referring domain, and campaign tags if present. The listing-event table does not store a visitor's name, email address, phone number, full IP address, or full user-agent string. This section-reach heat map is separate from Microsoft Clarity's recording features described below.

How the information is used

We use the information to respond to your question or tour request, help with the real estate services you ask about, provide a quiz result, manage a newsletter signup, maintain the website, limit abuse, and understand which pages and features are useful. We may use the contact method you selected to follow up about the request you submitted. A request for a tour does not confirm an appointment.

A newsletter signup is separate from a property inquiry. You can ask to be removed from the newsletter or to stop other follow-up by contacting Kate at the address below.

Cookies, storage, and analytics

Google Analytics 4 is installed on the site. It uses cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits and measure traffic. Microsoft Clarity is also installed. It can measure clicks and scrolling, produce heatmaps, and create session recordings. Clarity may use its own cookies or identifiers. A hosting-platform analytics script (Umami) is loaded when configured. These services may receive technical usage information under their own privacy terms.

The site also uses browser storage for a theme preference, quiz result details, and a temporary listing-analytics session ID. An authentication cookie may be used if an authorized user signs in. Embedded maps, videos, and IDX home-search tools may load their providers' own cookies or technology when you use them. Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser can affect some features. This page describes current tracking but is not a cookie-consent control.

Who may receive information

Home Value and relocation requests are saved in a website lead database before an owner notification is attempted. Local-tour requests, newsletter signups, and quiz results are also saved in the website database, and some submissions trigger an owner notification. General contact, seller-page valuation, luxury-relocation, and divorce-home-sale inquiries are sent through the owner-notification service but do not currently create a separate recoverable lead record. An alert is not a guarantee that a direct email was delivered to Kate's mailbox. For a time-sensitive matter, call Kate directly.

Website hosting, database, authentication, storage, notification, analytics, and security providers may process information to run these features. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and the configured hosting-platform analytics provider receive information related to site visits. Google Maps/Places, IDX Broker, and embedded video providers may receive data when their content loads or when you follow an external link. If you ask to be connected with a lender, inspector, or other professional, Kate may share the information needed to make that introduction with your involvement. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the site or its users.

How long information is kept

Home Value and relocation requests, local-tour requests, quiz results, newsletter signups, and listing-analytics events remain in the site's database until removed or managed under applicable business needs and requirements. Copies of inquiries may also remain in the owner-notification system. Hosting and analytics providers set their own retention schedules and controls. There is no single sitewide deletion deadline to promise here. Contact Kate if you want to ask about a particular record.

Your choices and requests

You can avoid optional forms, ask Kate to stop direct follow-up or remove you from the newsletter, and use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. You may contact Kate to ask what information she has about you and request access, correction, or deletion, subject to identity verification, legal obligations, and any rights that apply where you live. If an applicable law provides a right to appeal a response, you can reply to the same contact address and ask for review. We will explain when we cannot fulfill a request. This policy does not state that any particular privacy law automatically applies to every visitor or to this business.

Security and sensitive information

We use website hosting, access controls, and provider tools intended to help protect information. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not put Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, account passwords, detailed health information, or confidential legal documents into open website forms. Call Kate first to discuss a more suitable way to share a sensitive document.

Children

This site is for people interested in real estate services. It is not designed for children under 13, and its forms are not intended to collect their personal information. Contact Kate if you believe a child has submitted information through the site.

Links and embedded services

The site links to or embeds third-party home searches, maps, videos, social sites, and other resources. Once you use those services, their privacy policies and settings govern their own data handling. Review their notices before entering information with them. The site may be accessed from outside Tennessee, and service providers may process information in other locations.

Changes to this policy

If our website practices change, this page will be updated and the date at the top will be revised. A new policy does not fix a past handling problem or replace any notice or consent required by law.
